There is no such thing as a “Forklift Licence”. The certificate that you receive on completion of your training is yours for life. It is however, recommended that you undergo refresher training every 3-5 years.
Contact the training company who performed your course(s), they will be able to obtain a copy of your certificate from us. You can contact us directly and ask for it, however, we won’t issue any certificates or ID cards until we have been given consent from the training company / instructor who performed your training.
There may be a fee for providing this service
This is purely for the consideration of the instructor / training company. If he / she hasn’t been paid for the course(s) in which you have been trained, it is not fair for us to send you the certificates directly. All issued / re-issued certificates and ID cards get sent directly to the instructor / training company who carried out your training.
The average cost of a forklift course depends on the type of truck you wish to learn and which training company / instructor you choose to use.
The length of a course can vary, but we can summarise it into different groups.
For example:
Novice Course 1 truck – 1 candidate – 1 instructor = 3 days
Novice Course 1 truck – 2 candidates – 1 instructor = 4 days
Novice Course 1 truck – 3 candidates – 1 instructor = 5 days
Conversion Course 1 truck – 1-2 candidates – 1 instructor = 1 day
Conversion Course 1 truck – 3 candidates – 1 instructor = 2 days
Refresher Course 1 truck – 1-3 candidates – 1 instructor = 1 day
Attachment Conversion Course 1 truck – 1-3 candidates – 1 instructor = 1 day
The average length of a training course is also based on every individual candidate’s ability to learn and what materials are available to use at the time of training. Some circumstances may require further tuition, resulting in adding 1 or more days.
There are no specific timings as to the daily length of any training course.
